December is typically a slower month for real estate transactions as the weather chills and many celebrate the season. Compared to 2023, many of the submarkets reviewed in this report saw an uptick in sales for December 2024. Six of the eight markets additionally recorded an increase in average sales price. This trend coincides with the recent report from Zillow naming Indianapolis as one of the country’s hottest markets.
