As you may have noticed, April was a busy month for Matt McLaughlin & Associates. Historically, the residential real estate market looked a bit like a bell curve and as warmer temps rolled in so did our busier season. Then things changed a bit. Covid came and went, and we have all found things to be a bit less predictable in life in so many ways. But for us, April brought warm weather and the start of the busy real estate season!
Here are a few takeaways as we look at this data. Nearly every market reviewed experienced longer days on the market, so we no longer must work at the fevered pace we did in the past which may be better for some buyers. The high-end market looks fairly robust this spring with strong sales and average sales prices in April.
