2023 is already off to a fast start with 2 new listings and 3 homes under contract on the books already for Matt McLaughlin & Associates. But before we dive too deep into the new year, we wanted to take a quick look back at the numbers for 2022.
In nearly every market reviewed, we saw gains in average sales price with the exception of Meridian Hills and Williams Creek areas. Additionally, most communities showed a decline in transactions. This decline is likely a symptom of a constrained inventory, with all markets below what is considered a balanced market of 3 months of available homes. On average homes are still selling in 1-2 months.
